Choral Conductor · Collaborative Pianist · Piano Teacher · Vocal Coach
For over thirty years, I've helped people of every age find their voice at the piano, in the choir loft, and on stage — because music, done well, changes how a person sees themselves.
I'm a pianist, conductor, and teacher who believes music is one of the truest ways we grow — technically, creatively, and emotionally. Whether I'm coaching a nervous first-time singer, leading a chorus through a new piece, or accompanying a soloist before an audition, my focus is the same: meet each person where they are, and help them discover more than they thought possible.
My training runs from the American Conservatory to the Wheaton Conservatory to London's Guildhall School of Music, but the real education has come from decades in classrooms, on stage, and homes — teaching, conducting, and playing alongside remarkable musicians and students.
What I do
Leading choirs and ensembles — from community and church choirs to a professional women's chorus — with an ear for blend, story, and shared purpose.
Private piano, voice, and vocal coaching for students ages 4 to 85, plus early childhood music education through the Musikgarten curriculum.
Accompanying choirs, soloists, and auditions as a pianist — the steady musical partner behind someone else's moment on stage.
I currently lead Bread & Roses Chorus, a community women's chorus dedicated to inclusion, social justice, and community engagement — providing artistic direction and, when needed, serving as collaborative pianist. Website
"Helping each student grow beyond what they believed possible — that's the whole job."
